BlueSpace Speaks at Email Retention Seminar
Justin Marston, Founder of BlueSpace, will speak at the VNEWSINSIGHT seminar on email retention on June 22, 2006. The seminar is being hosted by Veridyne at the Baltimore Inner Harbor Hotel, in Baltimore, Maryland. The co-presenter at the seminar is William McComas, a partner in the business law department of Shapiro Sher Guinot & Sandler, Philadelphia. He advises Fortune 500 companies on records management, data security and electronic data discovery issues.
Email retention is a serious challenge for many organizations. Regulatory frameworks such as DoD 5015.2, HIPAA in healthcare, SEC regulations for banks and accounting rules such as Sarbanes-Oxley, place complex requirements on email retention. Content must be retained for different periods depending on what processes it relates to, and the individuals involved in the communications. In addition, the retention period can often depend on external factors, such as when an audit is completed, or when a records folder is cutoff.
BlueSpace TransMail has been specifically designed for regulated messaging environments. It allows variable retention depending on content, and can be linked to external triggers. It controls content over the entire lifecycle, from creation to final deletion. TransMail also integrates with Microsoft Outlook and Exchange, or Lotus Notes and Domino.
