The Trusted Client on the Solaris 10 TX MLS desktop in TransMail Trusted Edition leverages the BlueSpace Trusted Client Framework to build its MLS views.
As information sharing has become more important, creating a single view of data across multiple security levels has become a key capability for the defense and intelligence communities. BlueSpace has partnered with Sun Microsystems to develop the first MLS middleware application, the BlueSpace Trusted Client Framework.
The Trusted Client Framework allows defense and intelligence organizations, and their partners, to rapidly develop and deploy MLS interfaces to both existing commercial and custom applications with minimal impact on accreditation. Examples include MLS instant messaging and collaboration tools. BlueSpace has contracted with a Common Criteria Testing Laboratory in the US to evaluate its Trusted Service Bus at an EAL5 level.
