BlueSpace Overview

BlueSpace was founded in July 2001 by Justin Marston. The core product of BlueSpace is TransMail. This provides an electronic mail platform that is specifically designed for important, confidential or record content. TransMail integrates with and compliments existing email infrastructure, as it can be thought of as an ‘e-memo’. It is an enterprise application that enables secure mail and transactional messaging between business users.

BlueSpace has developed TransMail Trusted Edition for the defense and intelligence communities, providing the first truly multi-level, COTS mail and messaging platform. Designed for the Sun Ray multi-level desktop, users can have a single unified interface, managing content at Top Secret, Secret and Unclassified levels through a single inbox and interface. In addition, TransMail Trusted Edition supports attribute-based information sharing via custom data tags linked to an enterprise policy engine, inter-agency collaboration metrics and immutable audit logs.

The BlueSpace Trusted Client Framework was originally developed for TransMail Trusted Edition and is now available for defense and intelligence organizations, and their partners, to rapidly develop and deploy MLS interfaces to COTS and custom applications. It is the first COTS MLS middleware for end user interfaces that operate at several security levels simultaneously.
